It differs from traditional talk therapy! There is no need to repeatedly and for lengthy amounts of time, rehash the old stories of your past. As a matter of fact while that process may be beneficial for figuring out what core issue you are ready to transform, within hypnotherapy the real growth occurs when you create a new resource for yourself. During a typical session, we will spend 10-15 minutes discussing with the conscious mind all of those old judgements and stories. Then through relaxation techniques, I will guide you into a hypnotic state, where you will release the attachment to those past patterns, create a new resource and reinforce that new positive resource moving forward.
